Caitlin Jordan (she/her) is a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Kansas City.

She is a body and kink positive LGBTQIA+ trauma-informed provider and specializes in gender and sexual identity development and exploration. She is passionate about working with individuals coping with gender dysphoria, depression, anxiety, religious trauma, and relationship difficulties. She especially enjoys working with adolescents and creating a space where they feel accepted and understood.

She completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2014 and graduated Cum Laude with her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2017. While in graduate school, she completed a 200 hour level yoga teacher training and has been teaching trauma-informed yoga and mindfulness in various settings since 2016. This foundation has given her an appreciation for the connection between the mind, body, and spirit, and enables her to create a fully integrative therapeutic process.
Caitlin began her clinical work in 2016 and has since provided counseling services in private practice, community mental health centers, and inpatient residential psychiatric settings. Her therapeutic approach pulls from Psychodynamic, Existential, and Culturally Sensitive frameworks. She is an active member of the Kansas City Queer Affirming Therapist Guild and is an outspoken political advocate for LGBTQIA+ rights and access to gender affirming care at both the local and state level. Outside of work, Caitlin actively engages in her own individual therapy and pursues educational training opportunities in order to provide effective, evidence-based therapy and to create an affirming space for growth and change.
